Differential Calculus
In algebra, our main goal is to find the slope of a line but in calculus our main objective is to find the slope of the curve. Since curves have different slope measurements, we use calculus to determine the slope of given points.
To find the slope of the curve we use the same formula as we did in algebra which is:
change in y
--------------- You must look closely to the line to determine where the line is straight to give you a
change in x more accurate slope.
